The following is a seal lock used by the United States Bureau of Industrial Alcohol Seal Padlock during prohabition times:
Offered here is an old, but mint condition brass lock marked Slaymaker, Lanc. PA. It's in perfect working condition at 2 1/2" wide by 3 3/4" long by 3/4" deep. Markings include: U.S. B.I.R. The front "cap" slides easily to your left to access the key hole, and the key, marked 12038/just like the lock, fits perfectly and turns smoothly. When opened fully, the "cap" area drops down as shown in the photos. Please use the click to enlarge feature, as this item isn't returnable.
