SOREL COMBINATION LOCK

I still do not have one of these. Not the prettiest of combination locks, but a nice one anyway. One reason that I think it is a little odd, is that it all appears to be self contained with the very understated dial.

 

 

 

OFFERED IS A BRASS COMBINATION LOCK THAT READS SOREL LOCK LIMITED SOREL CANADA PATENTED 1921 ON THE BOTTOM. THIS LOCK MEASURES ABOUT 3 1/4" TALL AND 1 1/2" IN DIAMETER. THIS IS A VERY HEAVY DUTY AND WELL BUILT LOCK THAT FUNCTIONS PERFECTLY WITH THE KNOWN CODE. THIS ONE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND HARDER TO FIND SO BID WITH CONFIDENCE. - eBay (2 June 2013)

SOREL LOCK LIMITED Combination Padlock

Here is another Sorel Combination Padlock.

3 1/4 x 1 1/2 inches heavy, brass como padlock marked on the base with SOREL LOCK LIMITED SOREL CANADA, MADE IN CANADA, PATENTED 1921. Case condition is very good. Has typical mild wear of age and use. Unknown combination but the combination wheel functions well. Shackle is mobile in the locked position. A rare lock in the combination catagory. - eBay (30 June 09)

SOREL brass combination padlock

I like this combination padlock. Too bad it did not include a combination.

A very heavy, almost one pound, padlock with dial that works. Combination is unknown. Condition is very good with dark patina. Minimal wear and dings. Case is 2 in high and 1 1/2 diameter, overall is 3 1/4 in of height. Shackle is movable. No rattles. A very hard to find combo in this good of condition. - eBay (22 April 09)
