More Mail Pouch Locks

Here are a couple more mail pouch story locks that was auctioned on eBay recently:

Mail Pouch lock, Antique Padlock

This Mail Pouch lock is a very attractive lock. It does have a repaired crack on the top right back corner. (I've had the lock for about 20 years, and the repair was made before I got it. It was well done and very solid. I've encluded a close up view so you can see the repair.) The front of the shackle reads "Russell & Erwin Mfg. Co. - New Britain, Conn. U.S.A." The back of shackle reads "Patents Pending". Also there's a "3" on the back shackle. I do not have a key. The lock measures 3 inches high by 1 7/8 inches wide. - eBay (2 Dec 08)

1899 MAIL POUCH PADDLE LOCK NO KEY

This Mail Pouch lock is a very good find.

The front of the shackle reads "Russell & Erwin Mfg. Co. - New Britain, Conn. U.S.A."

The back of shackle reads "Pat. Nov. 22, 98. Pat. Jan. 31,99

Also there's a "6" on the back shackle.

NO key.

The lock measures 3 inches high by 1 7/8 inches wide. - eBay (Active as of posting )

This exact same lock had a 'Buy-it-Now' price of $100 but has since raised the 'Buy-it-Now' price to $250 (Plus $11.70 Shipping).
