SIBERIAN - ANTIQUE FLAT OVAL BRASS PADLOCK

Here is a nice example of a Siberian padlock. Too bad it does not come with a key.

This listing is for an authentic vintage antique padlock. This is a brass padlock with the name SIBERIAN on each side of the lock. The name is in raised lettering within a recess at the top of the lock, Stamped on one side below the lettering is "2M". I DO NOT HAVE THE KEY. Lock has flat faces, with oval opening at center. It measures 2" x 2-1/2" in outside measurements. It is in very good used condition, with no batters, pitting, gouges, or repairs.

This antique brass padlock is absolutely old and authentic, and sells with no reserve. - eBay (6 Dec 2011)

I have never seen this type lock before. I have to say that it is very interesting.

Too bad that there was no key to go with it.
