Rare antique padlock lock (N°12)

Old padlock likely from Germany with original key.

There are 2 bolts that hold the shackle closed. They operate independently one at a time.

The first half-turn of the key retracts one bolt and the second half-turn retracts the other bolt.

The key hole is asymmetric to make sure the key is entered the right way as each side of the key is different.

Lock works perfectly, excellent condition.
