Rare Antique German Combination Padlock

Dare I say that this has communist design written all over it. Althought it could be older but I am not sure when aluminum came into common use.

Old padlock likely from Germany. This is a RARE one.

Combination is known: 2-3-8.

Lock works perfectly, excellent condition.

Lock is 3 1/2" tall x 1 3/4" wide. Aluminum body and dials, iron shackle. - eBay (14 April 09)
