Here is something you don't see every day.Bean handcuffs using a round key.

1882 Bean Prison Police Handcuffs Restraints no Key. I think it is a Bean prison style. Marked patent date Nov. 1 1882. No key, appear to be in good workable condition without repair or visible damage. They are in the locked position. The little levers on the appear in working condition. Shouldn't be too hard to find or have a key made. The set has great patina and will make a great addition to your collection. - eBay (9 May 09)

This set of handcuffs sold for $474 (Plus $6 Shipping). The final price was close enough for me to put it in the $500+ label group.
