Here is what appears to be a railroad padlock.
padlock is much nicer then photo shows !!! nice front & back & comes with a working key.......... this is the smaller version of this type of lock .... lock is approx. 3 1/8 " not counting the clevis tip bronze padlock............. - eBay (28 April 09)
This lock had an opening bid of $147.50 (Plus $7.50 Shipping) but failed to attract any bids.
