Mini Bullring Lock Padlock - 18th Century

Very early and unusual mini bullring type of padlock. I would guess 18th century to early 19th century for age. It comes with what I believe is an original key. This is a very well made miniature. It is constructed of solid brass, and has very tight seams indicating a very skilled person made this lock. I have no idea of origin or usage.

The lock measures a hair over 1 3/4 inch long, just 3/16 inch thick, and under 1 1/2 inch tall. The tiny key measures 1 1/16 inch long.
