This padlock had a high bid of $350 (Plus $5 Shipping).A large, solid brass seal padlock, This lock takes a glass seal. It is the later American Seal Lock Design (1874). The lock is mechanicaly perfect and comes with an operating key. This lock is part of the XXX series of keyed alike locks. The key will open all locks in this series. The lock is in very good condition and has one of the best marked backs I have seen. A very good Eagle and patent date. The only problem is the US Custons part of the logo has been marked by rubbing on some object. It is quite readable though. It has a good patina. This lock has been used but not abused.
