large antique RUSSIAN (USSR?) LOCK

This is different, which is partly why I decided to post it here. The other reason was the amount that this lock sold for:

Just under 5 inches long this russian lock is very interesting,i wish i had a key to try it,pins stick out of the strangest places almost like its a trick lock, has N 7 on it and under a crown HBAHT COHHHT although our alphabet is not exactly like theirs - eBay

This lock sold for $188.99 (Plus $9.75 Shipping from Canada).

Clearly a couple people knew the value of this padlock.
