I'm posting this one simply because I have never seen one like it before.

U.S. WINALL Ornate CAST IRON PADLOCK with Key

Approximate Dimensions in inches are: 2 3/8 Tall x 1 7/8 Wide

I received an email that this lock was a military lock of CIVIL WAR vintage.
