This is a very interesting design for a combination padlock. Unfortunately, I have never seen one. Too bad this one does not have the combination.
This is a rare William Langeman combination lock. This is a great and very hard to come by lock measuring 2 1/2" x 3 1/2".. This is in the open position and all the dials turn as they should but there is no combo.. The patina is rich and the condition overall is very good, someone at some point re secured the back.. Not distracting and dispaly's well.. A great investment quality lock for about 1/2 the money - eBay (18 Nov 2011)
This padlock had an opening bid of $795 (Plus $5.50 Shipping) but had no takers. The padlock was relisted here for the same price.

Sold for $ 650 the second time around.
I know the seller, so I doubt it is in working condition... so it is just a cool looking padlock, but not a cool WORKING padlock... lol
