This set of leg irons had a high bid of 138Euros / $198 (Plus Shipping).This auction is for a rare set of vintage French Leg Iron, or Restraints, probably from the French penal colonies like Guyana. They are similar to the Rivolier type, if they're not made by Rivolier. They come with a working key. I understand the middle ring is intended for overnight lockdown. The locking mechanism is a screw that is simple, but very effective. They work fine. A very rare restraint, or handcuff. Slave restraints, handcuffs.
