This padlock had a high bid of $4,494 (Plus $9.05 Shipping).What a rare find. This auction is for a heavy ( little over 1lb ) brass combination padlock / lock. It's being sold in found condition. It has a crescent moon on one side with Green, Keyless lock co, Brooklyn N.Y. pat Sept.23,84 and on the back is 159 with 4 turn knobs. I was thinking that MAYBE it was used by the police dept. at one time ( because of the crescent moon ). The lock is about 4 3/8 x 2 2/8" x 3/4" thick.
I don't know the combination, so you will have to work on that. Without the combination I don't even know if it works. All of the knobs turn, one turn freer than the other.
