VINTAGE HIATT CAP LOCK 'HANDCUFF'
VINTAGE HIATT CAP LOCK HANDCUFF. Greetings, Hello fellow collectors, Here is a very scarce cuff, complete with the cap lock cover. I suspect this hiatt was made late 19th to early 20th century. The cuff is in very good condition and would make a fine edition to any collection as many advanced collections lack this piece. The cuff would of been likely attached to a transport chain with a group of prisoners. Condition of this item is excellent as most are a rust bucket that i have seen over the years. Normal ware and tear is present and some light oxidation. The cap fits perfectly, it does have a small ding you can see in the last pic. Outstanding specimen! Ships priority mail with insurance. Only ships to the lower 48 and no international of any kind. Comes with a money back guarantee! - eBay (March, 2022)This 'Handcuff' had a bid of $334.99 (Plus $15 Shipping) but the auction was ended by the seller 'because the item was no longer available'. -----

US Treasury Lock - Heavy Brass Clarke Combo Padlock
This beautiful brass government seal lock was made for use by the U.S. Treasury Dept., by Clarke Combination Lock Co. in Baltimore, MD. Original pat. date of 1873 and reissued in Feb. of 1876. Over 138 years ago! It is in wonderful condition for its age and works great. There are some older small tool marks on the back plate, which closes tight and still has the retaining spring clip behind it. Some newer tool marks on the knurled turn ring and the loss of some chrome. Beautiful patina and a smooth working, great feeling lock. Very collectible! - eBay (24 Oct 2014)
This padlock had a high bid of $799 (Plus Free Shipping).

U.S. INT.REV [internal revenue] SEAL PADLOCK PAT. Jan. 1878
Listed for a limited time only is this rare seal lock with original key both numbered 3283. The face of this all brass lock reads ,from top to bottom, 3283[on lock handle],U.S.IN. REV, IMPROVED PATENT APPLIED FOR, CANTON SEAL $ REGISTER LOCK CO., PATENTED JANUARY.1.1878. Key #3283 opens lock easily and all functions as should. Lock and key show little ware with few surface scratches. Brass patina is great. I would give both a 9 out of 10 rating. This rare lock is in high command among collectors. This particular lock was used by our beloved IRS on their money bags, money collected from rum taxes - eBay (17 Nov 2014)

19th Century E. Cotterill & Co A20 Padlock
Beautiful 19th Century Edwin Cotterill A20 Padlock.
Googled it and think it is a Royal Climax Detector
Original, boxed, mint condition with 2 amazing key still wrapped in oiled paper.
Boxed in mint condition
This lock is unused in great condition, I have googled this item and found out it is one of the most desired locks out there. It has all the marks and patent stamped on it and the original box has a small hand written line “Brass Lock 1898” I personally think it is a bit earlier more 1870 ish.
