1904 World's Fair Padlock with Key

I'm not sure why I do not own this one, but somehow I either missed it or didn't have the money. Either way, someone has an awesome specimen of the 1904 World's Fair padlock.

Manufactured by the Eagle Lock Company, Terryville CT. Lock is in extremely good condition, with fine details clearly visible on each side. Lock is still functional. - eBay (23 Sept 2013)

A: I found this little gem at an estate sell of a home in my area. Unfortunately, I have no information on it other than I know it is old and an original piece. I have seen similar locks like this on eBay in the past, but this is the first one that I have ever found myself. Sorry not to have any further information. Large Complex Brass & Steel Changable Key

This was a key for a lock that could be re-keyed by changing the order of the parts inside the lock. I didn't think the key was that rare, but given the final price I guess I was wrong.

 

Curious old brass and steel key that can be reconfigured. The end unscrews and the fins can be interchanged. It measures 6 1/8 inches long. There is light wear and some tarnish. - eBay (15 Sept 2013)

Assa Abloy Clear Padlock

Now here is a real interesting padlock. I already feel that I lost out by not purchasing this one, but sometimes people need to make tough decisions when money is a limited resource.

SOREL COMBINATION LOCK

I still do not have one of these. Not the prettiest of combination locks, but a nice one anyway. One reason that I think it is a little odd, is that it all appears to be self contained with the very understated dial.
