This is an interesting looking lock. Might it have joined two chains? Maybe a bicyle lock?
This lock had a high bid of $62.67 (Plus $4 Shipping).Very unusual round flat padlock with original key. Measures 1 3/8" diameter when closed. Possibly by the same company as the other flat lock I have on which is dated 1887. This doesn't have a date. - eBay (19 July 09)
