Description: This is an old steel padlock with brass fittings engraved with Washington's name and image. It dates, I would guess, to the 1920s (possibly a 1926 sesquicentennial piece). It is 2 1/8 inches in diameter, 3/4 inches thick and about 3 1/8 inches long. It is in excellent condition and works perfectly with strong spring action on the clasp. Neither the lock or key has a maker's name. A terrific old vintage lock for your collection. Thanks for looking. - eBay (14 March 09)
