Horseshoe Dog Collar Padlock

Here is one of the smaller versions of the horseshoe padlock.

Here is a neat miniature antique dog collar padlock. It measures 13/8 inch long, 1 1/32 across, and 3/16 inch thick. It is a working padlock, and comes with the original key. It is a very rare and hard to find miniature padlock dating to the late 19th century. Though the hasp is damaged it is in perfect working condition. The hasp has BARNES MFG CO, and PAT JUN- -- 79 (JUNE 1879) stamped into it. This was made by the BARNES MFG CO and was patented in 1879. The last two photos showing three locks are to show you the others currently listed in seperate auctions. This auction is only for the tiny 1 3/8 inch horseshoe lock. This padlock had a starting bid of $195 (Plus $4.95 Shipping) but failed to attract any bidders.
