Here is a nice seal padlock. This falls on the rarer side of the seal padlocks. Too bad there is no key to go with it.

This padlock had an opening bid of $400 (Plus free Shipping) but received no bids.THOMSON’S PATENT - OCTOBER 18, 1864 - (JAMES THOMSON) - 198 WATER STREET, NY - ALL BRASS - LEVER LOCK - A SEAL TYPE LOCK - LOCK IS IN THE UNLOCKED (OPEN) POSITION - NO KEY - LOCK IS 3 ¼” TALL - eBay (29 Aug 2010)

I have one with the original key. They are a piece of artwork, in my opinion.
