H & R Handcuffs 1944 with Box Paper Work

This is pair of H & R handcuffs Made in USA back in 1944. The inspection date was 2-8-1944 , this has the original Inspection Slip, original box, 2 keys one is original and the other has had the round ring welded back onto the key. These are called H & R Super Handcuffs Model No. 123 and are Nickel Plated, I assume the box only says Nickel. They both work fine, to unlock these handcuffs you must turn them up on end I guess you might call it the stem part and the key goes in there. They feel nice and tight when you lock them These may have never been use out in the field. Any questions just email me. - eBay

I recently won a pair of these via eBay. Instead of the patent #, it has inscribed, "Pat Pending". Would this indicate the 1934 manufacture - or before?
It also has a 4-digit serial # stamped on one cuff.

Any idea on date of manufacture?

Many thanks.

I have an old pair with:
"H & R Arms Company, Worchester, Mass. U.S.A.,
Pat. 1,984,677" and it has the serial #4142 to the right of this.
There is no "Made in USA" on these cuffs.

Are these different from the norm?

I have a pair of H&R cuffs I inherited from my Dad. I don't have a 🗝️ key for them. Does anyone have a key for sale? I think it's the type with the two prongs on the end not the typical tab on the side. Thank you.
