WORMALD PADLOCK

What an odd keyway:





in very good condition, you put the key in and push and the inner sprung bit comes out and turns the lock, measures 6cm ltall - eBay (22 March 09)

This padlock sold for $290 Australian ($199.85 US) Plus $63.75 Australian shipping.

    Wormald padlocks were intended for locking pre-payment utility meters. Keyholes were designed to hinder trial of keys. This one has an 'active' key: the bit is pivoted out when inserted into the lock.
